Salads
While on a open conference call with Bob Perry he was talking about salads.

One of his comments has made me stop eating croutons - He called them those sneaky little rascals. My last salad came with these on the top and as I raised the crouton to my mouth I thought of Bob and his sneaky little rascals and I could not let one of those pass my lips!

Another thought he had was for those that do not like oil and vinegar dressing, he suggested mixing the oil and adding a little taste of the dressing we like just for flavor. I have tried that and it works!

RE:Salads
Awww, but croutons are so good. What he said does make sense. They are probably loaded with diet busting stuff. Salads are a great way to stay healthy as long as we don't slather the salad with fatty dressing. They also help increase your fluid intake a little.
I'm glad Bob Perry is a member on Team Run Smart, he has a wealth of information for all of us.

RE:Salads
One way would be if you are at a grocery store that has the salad bar build one there or went at a truck stop get one off of the buffet.

Have you considered adding a cooler to your truck?

I like to get some baby spinach and chicken salad. Put a generous amount of each together and you have a great meal.
