Great Dane trailers
Wondering if some drivers can give me your opinions on Great Dane trailers if you've had them. Specifically a 53' step is what I'm looking at.

RE:Great Dane trailers
I can only speak on behalf of the Great Dane dry van I owned. Although it was older that thing was a tank. Never had any structural problems with it really. I have pulled some of the newer ones as well and they are really nice and feel sturdy and stable going down the road.

RE:Great Dane trailers
I have a Chaparral 53' step deck has been great. Great Dane is known for driy vans and reefers but not so much with open deck trailers. I'm sure it will be a quality product but may be hesvy. The choices are usually steel composition, combination composition where they use steel and aluminum and finally all aluminum which is the lightest and most expensive.

Thanks Blueridge, That's kind of what I thought. We are looking at combo tridem 53' steps. I'll have to see how they're priced.
