I've had seven fill ups since adding the Trailer Tail from ATD Dynamics. It seems to be living to their advertised claims of 6 to 6 1/2% increase in fuel mileage. So far the percentage of increase is showing 5.98%. The Trailer Tail appears as though it's going to be a great addition to my aerodynamic package. When I obtain more data, I'll give you an updated report.

The Trailer Tail seems to be working well with the Nose Cone, Real Wheels Aero Covers and Fleet Engineers Air Slipper Side Skirts.

Let us not forget the leader of this fuel mileage dance... the Cascadia Evolution. All the aerodynamic tweaks from the front bumper to the windsheild seal, mirrors, CB antenae relocation and 20 inch cab extenders all attribute to the start of a great aero package. The combination of a great aero package with a fuel efficient Detroit DD15 engine, DT12 AMT transmission, Meritor Fuel Lite 6X2 and Michelin X-1 wide base single tires have allowed for a lifetime fuel mileage average of 9.459 after 92,000 miles of travel. To date, I've had 17 fill ups over 10 mpg. after 58 fill ups with most of these being in the last month traveling at a cruise speed of 62 mph where applicable. Stay tuned as I'll be reporting on future results in more detail in the upcoming weeks.
