Dollar General is a company I've been watching closely for awhile.  They have been in business for over 75 years and have rolled with the changes that Walmart and Amazon have brought to the consumer market.  At the time of this writing, they operate 14,761 stores in 44 states so you won't have to look far to find one.  And with the outrageous truck stop prices, you're much better off finding a discount retailer to find items you need while away from home.

Their goal is to have a store between your home and Walmart.  They carry the most popular household items that Walmart sells.  You won't find many choices of similar products, but you will find almost anything you need without having to enter Wally World - which appeals to me.  They have personal hygiene products, water, canned food and some even have a small refrigerated grocery section.

While on the road, you can find the nearest Dollar General by clicking here.  They're much smaller than a Walmart so parking will be a challenge.  I always search the address on Google Maps and see if there's truck parking nearby.  I can usually find a nearby empty lot or a shoulder to park on for a few minutes.
