Campaign Schedule @ GATS

My absurd campaign to become the new FMCSA Administrator will continue at GATS. There will be several campaign appearances throughout the show. Times and places will not be coordinated because, well I am just not that organized. The only really time sensitive appearance will be the Trucking Solutions Group walk. That will start at 09:00 in front of the convention center. We will walk down to the truck parking area to shake hands and kiss babies. From there we will head up to Dealey Plaza, and head back to the convention center before the show opens.

The majority of my time will be spent at the Team Run Smart Booth. I will be talking about the team. We will be inside the Freightliner Booth. Hopefully, I will spend a lot of my time showing off the new Cascadia Evolution. There will be plenty of show trucks in the booth. It is a great time to talk to truckers about trucks. Remember, even as the head of the FMCSA, I will always be a trucker first.

This job requires blood and sweat. I figure that walking in the Dallas heat will produce the sweat. The Red Cross will be more than happy to take my blood. They will be set up in booth # 5057. Rick Ash and Jeannie Silk from the group will be spending a lot of time there. New this year will be a chance to sign up for the bone marrow registry, conveniently located in the same booth. With my tight campaign schedule that saves a lot of time. Thanks to the Randall Reilly Corp for providing the space.

At some point I will also be stopping by the OOIDA booth to say hey to the new big shot federal regulatory guy Scott Grenerth. Scott is a great guy and an excellent choice. Since someone sent me a press pass, I will be making appearances in the press room looking for publicity and free food. I will also be stopping by the Road Pro Booth. The new Road King CB works great with the integral antenna system on the Evolution. Innovation begets more innovation, and it will be on dispay all over GATS.

My truck will be there too. Its lifetime MPG in my operation is 8.665. My evolutionary bike rack is inside of it. My bike will probably stay in my room. A big shot politico like myself needs a limo. Mine has two wheels. I plan on kicking the campaign into high gear at GATS. We deserve an FMCSA who can double clutch. Remember, if Jamaica can have a bobsled team why can't we have a driver at FMCSA? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? NO! Nothing is over until we decide it is. Hope to see you there.

Thanks Darren, I will take all the non votes that I can get. The gold Evolution was part of the display at MATS

You still have my "non-vote" Jeff, if I can call it that. BTW, whats the details on that gold Cascadia in your blog?

With me in charge of FMCSA, everyone is going to need a sense of humor, lol

Nice article Jeff. I'll vote for you. Keep the great sense of humor, as FMCSA chief you will need it!
